Hello All,I wanted to push you all a quick update as it has been a few days. The situation on the ground is very fluid and ever-changing. However, with the complete pullout of US military forces, things have slowed down a bit as we "let the dust settle." We are still working with our local people on the ground to help people find safe places to stay during this timeframe. As the situation develops, we will keep everyone posted on the progress. As of right now, we have helped get 22 people across the border into neighboring countries. I want to make sure that it is evident that this was accomplished through internationally recognized border crossings and proper paperwork. That number...

Big news for the TWIMCF crew! We are officially a tax exempt organization!!! We got the letter earlier this week granting us our 501c3 status. WHAT, WHAT!?!?!
LET'S GET ROLLIN'!!!
Nothing warms the heart like seeing a project come to fruition. What started as a simple idea of sending toys, treats, and winter clothes to the kids in Iraq turned into a long tedious process. A process we started to doubt. However, we dug in and made it happen. It was great seeing the kids so happy.
With a better understand of how to make things happen, we plan to send more over soon. We have grown out network all over the country. We have continued to gain the trust and confidence with the people. Our coming trip in June/July will see even more growth and change.
