Afghanistan Update: 01-JAN-2022

The situation has stalemated. The reports of Taliban forces searching out those who have supported US, NATO, and GoA forces continues. The food shortages are hitting the country in waves. Taliban have cut off different regions/areas due to ethnic reasons, causing a disproportion amount of supplies being available around the county.  Our team continues to move families around the country as needed. We continue to support other organizations working in Afghanistan with food, medical supplies, and shelter.  We continue to operate free of sending funds into Afghanistan, utilizing funds of those already in country. This method is dwindling as the amount of available funds in country being to dry up. We are working on solutions to this problem at this...

Afghanistan Update: 01-DEC-2021

We have continued to be successful in providing lodging, food, and medical care as needed throughout the entirety of Afghanistan. We continue to work with many of the organizations you see on the news. Behind the scenes, we have been responding to direct request for food, medical care, and shelter for many of these organizations. Flights out have continued to be the talk of the town. We continue to keep a finger on the pulse of this but focus on keeping people fed and safe. Afghanistan Update 01-NOV-2021

Things have been slow but successful. We have been moving three families from safe house to safe house in the northern half of Afghanistan. We successfully provided food and medical support to families in the north, east, and south. With fears of drastic supply issues looming, being able to provide food and medical aid to families is going to be a key aspect for our operations in the future.

Supply Chain

It is the little things. The TWIMCF team is blessed to the have the capability to flex when requests from other groups need assistance. We were contacted about a family in critical need of supplies. We were able to have those supplies to them within 24 hours. It isn't always that smooth or fast but you have to be grateful when it is.  We have been helping people all over the region since August. Every single day we are working to help those in need. People in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. This will be a long road, but it is one that we are willing to travel as long as is needed.
