Ukraine Update: 19-25 March 2022

Our team has been very busy in Krakow. Akira and Luke continue to meet new organizations that has greatly increased our capabilities on the ground. This week also saw the delivery of radios that will be utilized by our network moving supplies all access Ukraine.  The guys also helped unload 10 pallets of supplies that our partners received and reloaded on the transportation to be trucked in.  Our network completed 8 runs go into Ukraine, with a total of 38 pallets worth of aid making into key cities on the eastern side of the country.  This week also saw Bryan and Devin return to the US safely.

Afghanistan Update: 19-25 March 2022

With the US looking to seize funds from Afghanistan, our network is finding it harder to utilize cash in country. We have been successful in our ability to not send money into Afghanistan since its collapse in August.  However, even with resources becoming more difficult to utilize, we have continued our funding of safe houses that provide cooks, essentials, and security with great success.  The team is moving forward with supporting another push of admin assistance, which focuses on getting refugees the proper documentation to leave country.  With the unsurprising but very disappointing news around the shutting down of women's education, our network is looking at ways to facilitate education through other means.

Ukraine Update: 12-18 March 2022

This week was a bit slower paced on the meeting front, however a lot was accomplished. The team linked up with an organization out of the UK who was delivering supplies to our partners. It was a good day of moving supplies! All but one of the team came down with a cold but all are doing better now! Supply drop:

Afghanistan Update: 12-18 March 2022

Our team had a successful handoff of food and supplies to one of our warehouses this week. We were looking to shut it down and move to another location due to having issues with funding and increased Taliban presence. We were able to avoid any issues and got the funds and the supplies to them as the threat decreased.  This week also saw one of our networks receiving their first successful official document exchange! We will not be posting the details for security reasons, however it was a great day for our team! Photos of the supply drop:
