As some may know, the founder/director of TWIMCF and his wife purchased an old farm last year. Amongst the long list of reasons that they decided to purchase the ranch was the ability to develop a self-sustaining production of food to provide during times of need. Bryan and Ashley recently purchased cattle for their farm and while doing so, purchased a heifer for the foundation. Each head of cattle this heifer produces will be donated to support people in times of natural disasters.
Managed properly, a heard can grow over time, multiplying the foundations ability to provide health food during troubling times. This, along with the future garden and crops Bryan and Ashley plan to grow, will provide quality, healthy, sustainable food when people need it most.
